Signs of Fraud (suggestive not conclusive)
  • Ship-to address differs from the Bill-to address.
  • Bill-to is a US card holder and ship-to is and overseas recipient.
  • Order is rather large.
  • Items do not "fit" with each other.
  • "Customer" wants Express mail or FedEx overnight.
  • Multiple units of the same item.
  • E-mail address is an account from free e-mail providers (e.g. hotmail.com, findmemail.com, etc.) or from an "inactive" domain (a domain showing a "coming soon" page).

Please note that ALL the above mentioned signs may occur combined in a legitimate order.  It is very unlikely to happen but it is possible.   Please check "Fraud Protection on Suspicious Orders" to see some ideas as to how to combat fraud.
